Should I do Ansible?

Ansible offers open-source automation that is simple, flexible, and powerful.

This makes me want to automate and deploy more consistently in my homelab. It seems like a solid choice for scaling automation. It’s also a useful skill to learn, whether or not it’s strictly necessary for my setup today.

Learning Ansible

From what I understand, I’ll need to create playbooks for most tasks and use them to deploy to containers. It seems fun to learn, and I’m considering Semaphore as a UI for running playbooks.

The Semaphore UI seems like a good choice and should make Ansible easier to learn. It can also help with building images and other tasks in the homelab.
